One of the few intersections that can’t be solved with a roundabout.

You can blame WJ Murphy and his Arizona Improvment Company for that gem. They built Grand Avenue at an angle through Phoenix’s grid in order to connect the northwest farming communities to downtown Phoenix. It creates an an absolute nightmare at every major street it crosses. The railroad ads to the chaos. Of course they probably never thought there’s be 5mil people living in the middle of the goddamn desert.
As an added bonus, there’s a higher liklihood of you getting shot at the intersections in this area of Phoenix.

Huh. If only some sort of warning devices existed to alert drivers and those around of an oncoming train. Perhaps an audible device of some sort? Too bad nothing like that exists.

G ood looking old EMD motive power, with a few new scratches... I’m sure the crew appreciated the extra paperwork.
